Meet the Family Behind Jay Primrose Properties

The Story
Jay Primrose Properties is named after our twins — Jay and Primrose are their middle names. They’re the reason Justin went out on his own: to build a business strong enough to provide for the family, and flexible enough to actually be present for it.
Today, that’s still the whole idea. Justin and his family live in Puyallup. His wife designs our renovation and construction projects — from the finishes in a remodel to the architectural design of homes we build from the ground up. And the crews doing the work are local subcontractors we’ve worked beside for years, some for more than a decade.
Since 2014 we’ve bought houses as-is, taken on full renovations, held rentals, and built new homes from bare dirt across Pierce County — and Justin has coached other investors on doing business with integrity and advised on hundreds of deals beyond our own.
We’re Builders First
Plenty of companies can put a “we buy houses” sign on the corner. Very few of them can pull a permit, design a floor plan, or manage a crew. We can, because that’s the other half of our business: Jay Primrose Properties is its own general contractor, and we design and build new housing right here in Pierce County — including new single-family homes and backyard homes (DADUs) that add housing where it’s needed.
That matters to you for one practical reason: when we walk your house, we’re pricing the work with a builder’s eyes and doing it at contractor cost. We don’t need to lowball you to protect ourselves from surprises — surprises are our day job.
