From its humble beginnings, the Junett Community Garden has grown exponentially and now boasts nearly 50 individual plots, covering over an acre of land. This growth has been fueled by close collaboration between the gardeners, Tacoma Parks, and Recreation, and the Hilltop Action Coalition. This three-way partnership has been essential in creating and sustaining an environment that responds to the needs of both the gardeners and the larger community.
